I had previously wrote about slings in my blog post, A Touch of the South (link below) . I can not say enough about how wonderful my sling is. How my son loves the contact with myself or his father, how soothing it was for him as a newborn, or what a saving grace it has been on my back and arms as he is now over 14kgs and only beginning to walk. He all to often craves to be held as opposed to spending time in a pram.

I have recently found this website SLING MEET which provides priceless information about slings for those who are new to the world of wearing your offspring. They provide information on where the local sling meets are held, the benefits of wearing your child, and guides and tips on wearing.
