I found this makeover of Ez’s daughters room on her Creature Comforts blog– a fabulous blog which has become one of my frequent blog reads now. Her makeover caught my eye because of several beautiful designed elements such as the curtain seperated bed nook, the bright yellow walls contrasted by the turquoise blue area rug and accesories, and the use of varied hand-made art and craftwork all over the room.

WORCESTER VINTAGE FAIRS {FABULOUS OLD AND RE-FASHIONED ITEMS}

This post is a bit vintage as the Worcester Vintage WAVE Fair was back at the end of July, but the time has now come for another Vintage Fair in Worcester this weekend, August 28 and 29th so you can go and have a look for some of the great vintage shops and items I mention here now.

I had a fabulous time at the last fair looking at all the wonderful 40’s dressed fans courtesy of Le Keux Events, the fabulous area vintage shops such as Textile Treasure Seeker, Richmond Retro, Toadstool Vintage, and Second Hand Rose to name a few. But I found Vintage Vanity particular interesting as they were selling these adorable stuffed toys fashioned from vintage fabrics! Check out this adorable owl I picked up for Boy Blue. This little guy was created by the mother of a shop assistant at Vintage Vanity. PRETTY, PRETTY PINK {GIRL’S BEDROOM}

I was looking recently at Pip Studios adoring all of their fabulous wallpapers and then I came across Susana’s (aka Citrus and Orange) daughter, Carlota’s room in Porto, Portugal. She used the Pip Chinese Rose Wallpaper to decorate. I ♥ it! It’s fabulous Susana!

The room is filled with a bed and desk unit, which I adore. It was a clever decorating and space saving combo. The area rug is from Vertbaudet, the bedspread from Designer’s Guild, the wall art from Beijos de Algodao and bird decoration from Ravenhill. Beautiful designed Susana. GROWING, GROWING, GROWN {CUTE HEIGHT CHARTS}

I saw these height charts on on of my favourite blog reads, Young House Love. They are from Stacy of Name Your Design. I find them so irresistably cute but some what pricey at $52 USD or £35 GBP. Although I wouldn’t say the charts are completely over priced. Stacy has some really fantastic and simply designs . Her designs correlate nicely with her personalisations for you. You can see more of her wonderful work here.

Unfortunately for all my European readers and I they don’t ship internationally at the moment {Sad face}.

Sorry for my disappearing act for a while and no I haven’t been on the see-saw this whole time with my son. I have been working away as usual planning more photography sessions for the charity breastfeeding calendar and also busy with research. I still have lots of exciting information to share about some great finds from the recent baby fair and vintage fair in Worcester. I also want to share our family day at Clive’s fruit farm with you so keep watching!

From Anthropologie’s February catalog for Spring 2010 to Local Circus poster announcements to Extreme Makeover Home Edition and now this FANTASTIC Circus-themed boys room! The room was put together by a couple of folks in Kansas City that go by the name of Dixon and run Artistic Living Spaces. I think they did a beautiful job, creatively using the space and both natural and artifical elements. It is full of bright vibrant primary colours, ideal for any young children and screams of FUN! The main mastermind was Kate Dixon, a photo stylist for Cambria Cove. You can find out more about her here on her blog. ENJOY!
